The Tiwa Savage Music Foundation exists because talent is everywhere—but access is not. Across the continent, countless gifted young creatives are building dreams without the training, mentorship, and support systems that turn potential into sustainable careers.

The Foundation is dedicated to empowering emerging talent through music, education, and creative opportunity by providing access to world-class music training, mentorship, and resources across the African continent, with a focus on underrepresented and underserved communities.

We believe music is more than sound—it’s identity, voice, and possibility. When young people are given the tools to develop their craft and understand the industry, they gain confidence, direction, and the ability to shape culture and tell their stories on a bigger stage.

A Collaboration Built on Access + Excellence

The Berklee in Nigeria: Tiwa Savage Emerging Musicianship Intensive is a four (4) day program that brings the Berklee teaching methodology to the vibrant, impactful and influential Nigerian music environment. Program participants will be immersed in the Berklee professional musicianship experience, and connect with artistic and industry leaders in the West African music marketplace through the expertise of Artistic Advisor, Berklee Alumna and world renowned artist Tiwa Savage.

This program is designed to provide students with an integrated experience that highlights the interconnection of all aspects of professional musicianship, including performance, songwriting, production, and music business. By the end of the program, all students will have engaged in instruction across these areas. The course content will build on the existing interests of the participants as well as spark curiosity about new and unfamiliar topics.

The Emerging Musician Intensive meets the music participants where they are, offering them practical, real-world demonstrations that will enhance their artistry, musicianship and knowledge of the music industry.

Music changed my life. But talent alone isn’t enough, especially when access is limited. I want to build something that opens people’s eyes to the full scope of what’s possible in music. The person who composed the score for a film, who creates music for global campaigns, or who uses music as a tool for healing.

Internship Programme

The Tiwa Savage Music Foundation (TSMF) is launching a paid internship programme designed to support and nurture the next generation of creative talent across the music and cultural industries.

We are looking for passionate, curious and driven creatives who are interested in gaining hands-on experience within a fast-growing foundation focused on education, opportunity and industry development.

Successful interns will work closely with the TSMF team across a variety of departments including digital marketing, events management and operations, supporting the execution of programmes, campaigns and initiatives that empower emerging talent.

Areas of Interest:

Digital Marketing: Social media, content creation, campaign support and digital storytelling.
Operations: Supporting the day-to-day logistics, programme coordination and administrative support.
Events Management: Assisting with planning, production and on-the-ground coordination of foundation events, workshops and activations.
